Now that you have successfully completed Adjustable Gastric Lap-Band Surgery, you want to manage your weight loss in the best way possible. a few important features into your eating habits,you can achieve your desired weight and maintain that weight as long as you believe you can.
Immediately Following the Surgery
Lap Band
One. For approximately one week after the surgery you need to only consume a liquid diet consisting of clear juice, gelatin and broth.
2. Pureed foods and protein shakes will be the only intake allowed over the next six weeks or so. This can eliminate the potential of band slippage that could lead to additional surgery, plus it will give your system time to adjust to the change.
3 A new exercise plan such as exercise bike or water therapy should be developed.
A Month and a Half Post-Operative
