I know people say its 1-2 pounds but thats not true at all for athletes. Being on the wrestling team 2 years ago I have seen huge wieght changes from losing 5-6 pounds a week to gaining 12 pounds in 2 days. thats no exageration either. My friend gained that much and my coach was pissed because he didnt make weight lol.

1There’s no real limit to how much weight you can gain, but 1-2 lbs is the maximum HEALTHY weight loss. You can of course lose more, but that tends to result in gallstones and such.
